About Mike

Michael J. Dowling earned an industrial engineering degree with honors from the University of Florida and an MBA from Columbia Business School, where he was one of three Harriman Scholar graduates.

He has held a variety of management positions, including controller of an international high-tech corporation, president of a publishing company, president of a national gift business, and administrator of a large church.

Mike is the author of three published books, including Boosting Your Pet's Self-Esteem, a satire of the self-esteem craze published by Macmillan, and Flip Along Fun, an interactive, educational book for children that's sold more than 20,000 copies.
